We explore characters, environments, creatures, objects and settings visually, turning early ideas into concrete proposals.
Through concept art we help find the shape, the tone and the visual personality of each project before it moves into more defined stages.
What we deliver
- Characters
- Design sheets with front, side and three-quarter views, silhouette study, costume variations and material detail.
- Creatures
- Anatomy, weight, scale against a human figure, skin and surface. A creature has to explain how it moves without anyone saying so.
- Environments
- Plan and elevation, scale study, palette by time of day, the props that define the place.
- Keyframes
- The image that sets the tone of a sequence and that photography, lighting and VFX use as a shared reference.
- Objects and vehicles
- Design with a logic of how it works, not only of how it looks.
How we work on it
We start in black and white. Silhouette and value solve most of the design problem and are far quicker to reject than a finished piece. Color, material and finish only come once the direction is chosen.
Every delivery comes with the explorations and a short note: why this version, what was rejected and what is still open. That is what lets the next conversation start where the last one ended.
