We build and refine the visual language of the project so every element fits within one aesthetic narrative.
We work on the consistency between characters, environments, color, shape and composition, to consolidate a solid and recognisable visual universe.
What we deliver
- Color script
- The curve of the story translated into palette, sequence by sequence.
- Light and atmosphere
- Studies per location and per time of day.
- Materials
- What is metal, what is cloth, what is worn and why it is worn.
- Scale and proportion
- The relationship between characters, architecture and creatures, written down so it does not get interpreted.
- Style guide
- The document that reaches whoever models, animates or lights.
How it differs from concept art
Concept art solves elements; visual development solves the system those elements belong to. They overlap almost always, but the deliverable is not the same: one ends in an image, the other in a rule.
You notice when it is missing. A project with good concept art and no visual development has pieces that work on their own and a whole that does not look like one world. It usually shows up when several teams or vendors come in and each interprets the style their own way.

Shall we talk?
